HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA!
Hey COMS students!
Just giving you some more information about our amazing week of Halloween events! Hope your midterms are
n’t too stressful and that life is treating you well!
This year for Halloween, we were inspired by Free the Children’s annual Halloween for Hunger campaign. Basically, student groups and other organizations from all over trick or treat, but for NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS- to donate to a local food bank.
On this night generally devoted to excess, we thought we would contribute to the less fortunate.

THE EVENT:
For the week leading up to Halloween, we’ll kick off the event with a food drive. We will have a box with our name on it, so bring some non-perishable items to add to our collection!
On THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28TH- THE ANNUAL COSTUME CONTEST
In the past, people have gone all out- so at lunch time, come to the 2ND FLOOR ATRIUM in the CJ Building for FREE candy. To enter the costume contest, and to win the amazing prizes, you need to bring ONE non-perishable food item.
On the SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31st
We are meeting in front of the CJ BUILDING at 5:30 PM to begin our trick-or-treating fun around the Loyola campus area. Bring DURABLE bags, yourselves, friends, and a costume!
AFTER PARTY:
Afterwards, we will all celebrate at PUB PJ’s, located conveniently nearby on St-Jacques.
If you have any questions on any of the events, you can email us with a question, message us on Facebook, or meet a Guild member in the Atrium at lunch hours all throughout this week
Can’t wait to see you there,
