Be the designer of the next Coms Hoodie!
Send in your designs by November 18th @ midnight to cg.concordia@gmail.com

Winner will be announced November 20th on the guild website!
Winning Design gets 1 free hoodie and bragging rights!

RULES:
-Create 1 design or slogan that will be on the BACK of a zip up hoodie
-Incorporate “Communications Concordia” in your design
-Design must be received by the 18th of Nov. 2009.
-Designs may be submitted at cg.concordia@gmail.com or on CD in Coms Guild office 1.117
-Design must include a 72dpi JPG and 300dpi PSD

NOTE: The deadline has been EXTENDED from November 4th to the 18th and unfortunately the sweaters will no longer be American Apparel due to problems with our distributor. They will still be zip ups.

Following up on our recent telephone conversation, please find enclosed the e-mail invitation to the Public Service of Canada Communications Workshop. This event, called “Student Networking Café” will be held as part of the Public Service of Canada Job Fair on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.

This invitation to meet with communication specialists and discuss employment opportunities within the federal public service mainly targets third-year and graduating communication students.

We would like to remind you that the number of seats is limited and registrations will be on a first come, first served basis. We would therefore appreciate you sending this invitation out as soon as you receive it.

Moreover, in an effort to ensure that all communication students are informed, we encourage you to post the “http://fair.jobs.gc.ca/workshops.htm” address on your department’s Web site. By accessing this link, students can register directly to the activity and learn more about the Public Service of Canada Job Fair.

Louis is a silent film star who finds himself out of work-but unwilling to be forgotten, he sets out to jump genres. Will he find a new niche? Or does the answer lie off screen.
